Tuesday night’s Premier League action saw Leeds escape Stamford Bridge with a point, Tottenham sack manager Thomas Frank after 2-1 loss to Newcastle, Bournemouth come from behind to Everton and West Ham pegged back by Manchester United in stoppage time.

Aston Villa will host Brighton in one of four matches kicking off at 19:30, as they look to recover form after a winless run of two matches.

Brighton are in freefall, having slipped to 14th in the Premier League table and are without a win in four league matches.

Pretty much anything that could go badly has gone terribly for Crystal Palace this season, well, after Everton away.

However, they now welcome Burnley, who are bound for an immediate return to the EFL Championship, with them nine points adrift of safety in the Premier League table.

Manchester City will look to continue their Premier League title challenge when they host Fulham, off the back of a 2-1 win away at Anfield.

That result saw the gap to Arsenal remain at six points, and with Fulham losing three of their last four, City will fancy themselves again here.

Nottingham Forest and Wolves meet at the City Ground in a ‘Disappointment Derby’, with both sides enduring a season to forget.

Forest are a far cry off last season – in which they qualified for the UEFA Europa League – whilst Wolves are bottom of the Premier League, having won only one match all season.

The box office game comes from the Stadium Of Light, where Sunderland will look to maintain their unbeaten home record against Liverpool.

The Black Cats are the only team to boast an unbeaten home record this far into the season and with Liverpool the kings of inconsistency, this could go either way.

Brighton have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games, a run that I cannot see improving in this game.

Aston Villa have lost back-to-back Premier League home matches, but remain third in the Premier League table.

I’d back Villa to get back to winning ways here, purely because of Brighton’s dire run of form.

Crystal Palace won their first Premier League match since early December last weekend, but that did come against Brighton.

However, Burnley haven’t won a Premier League since October and look to have a hopeless task in remaining in the division. I’d back Palace to win this.

Manchester City to beat Fulham should also be a formality, as they need to do so to remain in the Premier League title race.

Take City to win and over 2.5 goals, as this has been seen in eight of the last 10 matches between these two sides.

Nottingham Forest desperately need to beat Wolves, as West Ham and Leeds picked up points last night.

Luckily for them, they face a side who have little more than pride to play for, with 13 games remaining in the campaign.

I’m backing Forest to win and both teams to score, as both sides have lacked defensive solidarity this season.

Sunderland and Liverpool is a match that as a bitter Newcastle fan, I just wish both teams could lose.

However, and I am not pleased to write this, I’d chance Sunderland to win this game, given their superb record at home this season.

You never quite know how Liverpool are going to perform and should they falter, Sunderland are almost certain to reap the rewards.
