Premier League matchweek 33 is here, which means EPL Bets is back with another Premier League parlay. There are some blockbuster matchups spread across the weekend. With the door now blown wide open for a handful of ‘mid-table’ teams to sneak into a European spot, and the relegation fight really heating up nicely – or not so nicely if your team is in it – the stakes are at an all-time high.

So instead of pretending this weekend will behave itself, it’s probably safer to assume the opposite.

Expect a bit of chaos, a couple of results that raise eyebrows, and the strong possibility that Spurs will still be rubbish.

With that in mind, here are a few bold calls for Saturday’s action, because you know, go bold or go home…

Leeds vs Wolves

Leeds to win

Daniel Farke’s Leeds are coming into this one after a huge win at Old Trafford against Man United and the added pressure of fighting to stay in the Premier League.

Their performances have actually been good for a few weeks – if not longer – but they have just struggled to turn them into wins.

Of all the teams in the relegation fight, Leeds are my pick to stay up – and a win here goes a long way towards that, especially if others don’t pick up points.

Look, there really isn’t much to say about Wolves these days. Yes, they improved massively since the start of the season, but it was too little too late.

They are pretty much guaranteed to be playing in the Championship next season, and that 4-0 defeat to West Ham stunk of them wanting to be there sooner rather than later.

Leeds have a lot more to play for here, add to that they are at home and are in good form – This one feels sensible… famous last words.

Newcastle vs Bournemouth

The Eddie Howe derby…and we all know how Eddie Howe has performed in derbies this season. Too soon, Newcastle fans? Oh well.

If you didn’t know, Eddie Howe has never beaten his former club (Bournemouth) as Newcastle manager, and to be quite honest, I can’t see him doing it this weekend either.

Bournemouth are one of those handful of teams that are well within a shout of taking a European spot if they finish the season strongly enough.

They definitely have the quality to get it done, and with the club announcing Andoni Iraola is leaving at the end of the season, it would be the ideal farewell present.

Newcastle, on the other hand, are playing for pride at this point, although if you ask Newcastle fans, they don’t think they are even playing for that.

It’s been a season to forget for the Magpies, and they will be hoping to just get to the end of the season to rebuild and go again.

Newcastle are definitely capable of beating Bournemouth, but I simply think Bournemouth having something to play for gives them the edge here.

Bournemouth to win is the pick.

Tottenham vs Brighton

Brighton to win

Where do we even begin with Tottenham…

Roberto De Zerbi’s first game in charge against Sunderland didn’t go to plan, but let’s be honest, given how bad Spurs have performed, did we really expect them to beat one of the stronger home teams in the league on their own patch?

Because right now it’s hard to see them beating anybody, but they are going to have to start picking up points and fast if they don’t want to be playing Lincoln next season.

Brighton won’t just roll over for their former manager; like Bournemouth, they are well within the hunt for a European spot and would highlight real progression for them after a few years of mid-table mediocracy.

I just haven’t seen enough from Tottenham to see where they beat Brighton. They need a massive overhaul, and it’s looking increasingly worrying for them in terms of staying in the division.

Chelsea vs Man Utd

Match result – Draw

This fixture has always promised drama down the years, even if this one isn’t the title battle that supporters of old remember, it still has that added drama around it when these two face off.

This is probably the most unpredictable pick in this parlay, if I’m honest. Both teams have bags of quality but seem to struggle to produce it consistently.

Chelsea will have spells, Manchester United will have spells, both will look dangerous, both will look questionable.

This game will no doubt be a slugfest without too much thought for tactical nuance or low blocks.

I’ve gone for a draw as my pick here purely on the basis that I don’t think there is too much between these two.
