That can work against teams who overplay or lose shape, but Japan are unlikely to fall into that trap. They are organised without the ball, quick through midfield and comfortable letting an opponent have possession if it creates space to attack later.
That makes Japan to qualify a more interesting route than the match-winner market. Brazil have more individual quality, but Japan’s structure, mobility and recent head-to-head win all point towards a tighter game than the prices suggest.
