Tottenham Hotspur have signed Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush on loan, with an obligation to buy worth £60 million.
After the loan, the deal comprises a £50m upfront fee along with £10m in add-ons.
Marmoush left German club Eintracht Frankfurt for Man City in January 2025, and although it was initially reported Frankfurt have a sell-on clause, that has been confirmed to be false.
Man City sorted all obligatory payments in the clubs’ initial dealings.
Attack to a new standard
“Omar is exactly the kind of player we want at this club – ambitious, hungry and determined to make a difference,” Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi told Sky Sports.
“He has incredible attacking quality but what I also love is his desire to improve and to win.
“He brings pace, intelligence and a real threat in front of goal, and I believe he can take our attacking play to another level.”

A new start
“It feels amazing to be here. I’m so excited to get started with the team and I can’t wait to meet the fans,” Marmoush said after signing.
“Tottenham Hotspur is one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and the project was very attractive to me.
“I’ve spoken with the head coach, I loved what he had to say and I’m sure our passion for the game will go very well together.”
Revamped look
Marmoush adds to a revamped frontline, which sees the Egyptian join former team-mate Sávio, who completed his £85m move to Spurs on Tuesday.
Sávio scored and assisted in Tottenham’s 5-1 win against Charlton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
Marmoush will wear the number 22 shirt at the north London club, with Spurs set for a tough encounter against Newcastle United on Saturday in the Premier League.
