Turkish Airlines are set to become Liverpool’s new shirt sponsor for the 2027-28 season in a mammoth deal exceeding £300million.
Sky Sports reports the deal covers a five-year collaboration, worth around £60m per season.
Additionally, the Reds’ star striker Alexander Isak has spoken ahead of their game against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, saying he feels sharp so far this season.
Partnership developments
Standard Chartered have been Liverpool’s primary sponsor since 2010, with new developments dictating the multi-national financial services company are set to become the club’s global partner from next season.
Turkish Airlines will take over their current position from June 1, 2027.
“The front of the Liverpool shirt holds a special place in the history of our club,” Liverpool’s Chief Commercial Officer Ben Latty said.
“Turkish Airlines is a globally recognised organisation with an extensive international network, and we look forward to beginning our partnership and building a strong relationship together, with already strong foundations built from those special memories back in 2005.
“This announcement also provides an opportunity to recognise the extraordinary contribution Standard Chartered has made to Liverpool FC over the past 17 years.
“They have been an important part of our journey through an exceptional period in the club’s history, and we are delighted that Standard Chartered will remain part of the Liverpool FC family as a Global Partner from June 2027.”

Ready to take on tough season
Isak, who endured a turbulent season with the Reds last campaign through injury, feels ready to take on all challenges ahead of him this season.
“I feel good,” Isak told Sky Sports News.
“Obviously, I would have preferred if we had won all of our three games.
“But we won the last one and we have got to keep going like that.
“We’ve got to use the energy from that game and use it to put in another good performance.”
