Six consecutive wins. Six consecutive clean sheets. Sixteen goals scored and absolutely none conceded.

Bournemouth have spent the last few weeks making life thoroughly miserable for anyone unfortunate enough to be on their fixture list.

AC Milan, Manchester United and Aston Villa have all been beaten 3-0, and now the Cherries are heading to Prague with the chance to make it seven victories on the bounce.

Marco Rose’s side have made a remarkable start to their Europa League adventure, winning all three league-phase matches and sitting third in the 36-team standings.

Their opening 2-1 victory away to Real Sociedad was followed by comfortable 3-0 wins against Sturm Graz and AC Milan. Only four other teams have maintained a perfect record through the opening three rounds.

Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Leeds United made it three consecutive Premier League wins without conceding, something the club had never previously achieved in the top flight.

The Cherries are eighth in the table, and their current six-match winning streak is the longest they’ve enjoyed since Eddie Howe’s Championship side won seven consecutive games in early 2014.

Sparta Prague, meanwhile, are having a rather less enjoyable autumn.

Brian Priske’s side have won just one of their three Europa League matches, beating Ararat-Armenia 4-1 before drawing with Lillestrøm and losing 1-0 to Olympiacos.

Their domestic performances have hardly offered much encouragement either.

A 2-0 Czech Cup defeat against Baník Ostrava was followed by Sunday’s goalless draw with Bohemians 1905, leaving Sparta eight points behind city rivals Slavia Prague in the Czech First League.

They’ve failed to score in four of their last five competitive matches. Facing a Bournemouth defence that hasn’t conceded for six games is hardly ideal timing.

However, the epet ARENA has been a difficult destination for visiting European teams. Sparta have lost just once in their last nine UEFA home fixtures, winning six.

That record offers the hosts some encouragement, but Bournemouth arrive in the sort of form that makes even a tricky European away trip look manageable.

Another victory would move Rose’s side a significant step closer to securing direct qualification for the Europa League round of 16.

What are the best betting tips for Sparta Prague vs Bournemouth?

Bournemouth to win to nil

Six consecutive victories without conceding a goal is an extraordinary run, particularly when three of those wins have come against AC Milan, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Bournemouth have become increasingly difficult to break down under Marco Rose. Their defensive organisation has allowed them to control matches without sacrificing the attacking threat that has produced 16 goals during their winning streak.

Sparta Prague’s recent performances make this selection particularly attractive. The Czech side have failed to score in four of their last five competitive matches, including consecutive blanks against Baník Ostrava and Bohemians 1905.

The hosts possess a strong European home record, but their attacking problems could prove decisive against one of the competition’s most impressive defensive units. Bournemouth should have enough quality to secure another victory without conceding.

Under 3.5 goals

Bournemouth have been ruthless in front of goal recently, but their defensive discipline suggests Thursday’s encounter could be more controlled than their impressive scoring figures initially indicate.

The Cherries have kept six consecutive clean sheets, while Sparta Prague have failed to score in four of their last five matches.

Sparta’s last two competitive fixtures produced just two goals combined, and their previous Europa League outing ended in a narrow 1-0 defeat against Olympiacos.

Priske’s side are unlikely to approach this encounter recklessly, particularly against opponents who have scored three goals in four of their last six matches. A disciplined Bournemouth performance and another frustrating evening for Sparta’s forwards could keep the total below four goals.

Justin Kluivert to score or assist

Justin Kluivert has established himself as an important attacking outlet for Bournemouth, and his European performances make him an interesting option for Thursday’s encounter.

The Dutchman has scored twice in three Europa League appearances this season, including goals in both matches he has started.

His ability to find space between the lines could be particularly useful against a Sparta side expected to defend in a compact shape.

With Bournemouth scoring 16 goals across their last six matches, there should be opportunities for Kluivert to contribute if he starts. His movement, creativity and eye for goal make the score-or-assist market appealing, although his place in the starting XI should be confirmed before backing this selection.

Sparta Prague predicted lineup and team news

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted XI: Surovčík; Hoever, Zelený, Guddal, Vitályos; Irving, Mannsverk, Sochůrek; Jurásek, Vojta, Alcócer.

Brian Priske is expected to remain without Matěj Ryneš and Adam Karabec, who are recovering from ankle injuries, while Magnus Kofod Andersen and Emmanuel Uchenna are also sidelined.

John Mercado, Sparta’s leading scorer with seven goals this season, is doubtful after missing the previous two matches with a calf problem. His absence would represent another setback for an attack that has struggled to produce goals recently.

Former Wolves defender Ki-Jana Hoever should continue at right-back, with Jaroslav Zelený and Tobias Guddal expected to feature in central defence.

Andy Irving is pushing for a midfield recall, while Matěj Jurásek and Josimar Alcócer could provide width either side of Matyáš Vojta.

Bournemouth predicted lineup and team news

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted XI: Di Gregorio; Smith, Diakité, António Silva, Soler; Adams, Cook; Tavernier, Kluivert, Gannon-Doak; Evanilson.

Marco Rose remains without Alex Scott, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, while Alex Tóth and Julián Araujo are also unavailable because of thigh problems.

Veljko Milosavljević is another fitness concern, although Bournemouth otherwise have a strong squad available for their trip to Prague.

Bafodé Diakité could return to central defence alongside António Silva, while Lewis Cook is pushing for a start in midfield. Ben Gannon-Doak and Amine Adli are among the attacking options competing for places.

Evanilson has scored five goals in his last six appearances and should be considered for another start. However, Álvaro Rodríguez is an alternative if Rose decides to rotate, while Eli Junior Kroupi could also feature in an attacking role.

Sparta Prague vs Bournemouth prediction

Bournemouth’s current form makes them difficult to oppose, particularly against a Sparta Prague side struggling to produce goals.

Marco Rose has transformed the Cherries into an organised, confident team capable of controlling matches at both ends of the pitch.

Their six consecutive clean sheets are particularly impressive considering the quality of opposition they have faced, while victories against AC Milan, Manchester United and Aston Villa demonstrate that their winning streak is no accident.

Sparta’s European home record deserves respect. Six victories in their last nine UEFA home matches suggest the Czech side are capable of making life uncomfortable for visiting teams.

However, their recent attacking performances are a major concern.

Four blanks in five matches indicate a lack of confidence in front of goal, and Bournemouth’s defensive organisation is unlikely to offer many straightforward opportunities.

The visitors also possess several attacking players capable of deciding the match, with Evanilson in excellent goalscoring form and Kluivert providing creativity behind the striker.

Rose may rotate his squad with another Premier League fixture approaching, but Bournemouth have enough depth to maintain their momentum.

I expect Sparta to remain competitive during the opening stages, particularly with the home crowd behind them.

Nevertheless, Bournemouth’s superior form, defensive discipline and attacking quality should eventually make the difference.

Another professional European away performance looks the most likely outcome.
