Champions League MD two: Betting tips for Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham games

Liverpool to win

Mohamed Salah to score or assist

Chelsea to win

Enzo Fernandez to have a shot on target

Tottenham double chance (win or draw)

Both teams to score

Betting tips for Galatasaray vs Liverpool, Chelsea vs Benfica, and Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham

Liverpool to win – won their first UCL match against Atletico Madrid

Mo Salah to score or assist – scored and assisted in matchweek one

Chelsea to win – home advantage and a plethora of offensive depth should be enough for the Blues

Enzo Fernandez to have a shot on target – scored in his last match and will be in a more offensive role

Tottenham double chance (win or draw) – won their first UCL match and are unbeaten in their last five matches

Both teams to score – two good offensive teams, who had a combined three goals in the opening matchweek

The 2025-26 UEFA Champions League returns this week, as English Premier League clubs look to take a step closer to potential stardom.

Liverpool, fresh off defeating Atletico Madrid in matchweek one, are looking to bounce back from defeat at the weekend and continue their momentum in Europe.

Arne Slot’s side continues their UCL campaign with a visit to Turkish giants Galatasaray on Tuesday.

After a convincing defeat to Bayern Munich in their first match, the pressure is on Chelsea to put points on the board, and fast.

Enzo Maresca and his side play host to Benfica, who are now managed by the ‘Special One’ – Jose Mourinho.

It only took Tottenham four minutes to open the scoring at Villarreal, as Luiz Junior’s comedic own-goal was the decisive factor in a close contest.

Bodo/Glimt will undoubtedly prove to be tricky customers, as they play host to Thomas Frank’s side to conclude Tuesday’s matches.

What are the best bets for Galatasaray vs Liverpool?

Liverpool to win

Liverpool haven’t exactly fired on all cylinders as of late, but this is a side that seems to always find a way, an almost innate ability to get over the finishing line.

Arne Slot’s side should have too much quality for Galatasaray on this occasion, as they look to build on Virgil van Dijk’s late dramatic header to secure three points last time around.

Mo Salah to score or assist

Salah began his UCL campaign in fine form, with one goal and one assist to his name against Atletico Madrid.

The Egypt international hasn’t had the start to the season we are accustomed to seeing from him, but it is only a matter of time before he returns to the form that earned him fourth place in the most recent Ballon d’Or voting.

What are the best bets for Chelsea vs Benfica?

Chelsea to win

Chelsea are going through a bit of a tumultuous run of form, with injuries and suspensions piling up on Enzo Maresca and his staff.

The pressure is on for the Blues, and Tuesday will be seen as a massive night for the club.

Chelsea have a fantastic H2H record against Benfica – winning in all four matches against them since 2012.

Enzo Fernandez to have 1+ shots on target

The injury to Cole Palmer is certainly detrimental to Chelsea. However, this gives the likes of Fernandez a chance to shine in a new role.

Fernandez will be looking to add to his goal at the weekend with another great performance in the attacking midfield position for Maresca’s side.

What are the best bets for Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham?

Tottenham double chance (win or draw)

Tuesday’s visitors are unbeaten in their last five matches and look to have turned a new corner under the excellent Thomas Frank.

Bodo/Glimt will look to cause an upset against Spurs, but Frank’s side should have too much quality for the home side to take all three points on this occasion.

Both teams to score

The home side’s greatest strength is their offense – especially in front of their home faithful.

Glimt will look to build on the two goals they scored against Slavia Praha in their first UCL match, against a Tottenham side who are just as dangerous in attack.
