Liverpool are the side I favour to come through this tie, particularly with home advantage.
There should be plenty of changes from both teams, but Liverpool have the squad depth to cope with rotation.
They have also started the season without a defeat in all competitions.
Tottenham’s lack of goals is another major concern.
They are still waiting for their first Premier League goal of the season, while Liverpool have already shown they can find the net regularly.
I expect the Reds to have enough quality to get the job done and book their place in the fourth round.

If Gakpo is passed fit to feature, this is the player market I like most.
The Dutchman can play across the front three and should have plenty of opportunities to influence the game if Liverpool dominate possession and territory at Anfield.

I also like Liverpool to find the net in both halves.
Even if they rotate their squad, Liverpool should have enough attacking options to keep the pressure on throughout the game.
The Reds have scored in each of their last four competitive matches, including twice against Atletico Madrid and twice against Nottingham Forest.
With Anfield behind them and a place in the next round at stake, I can see Liverpool finding a way through in both periods.
