Norway team news
Norway are expected to name a similar side to the one that stunned Brazil to reach the quarter-finals.
Ståle Solbakken’s side have looked well organised throughout the tournament and will be reluctant to change a team that produced one of the biggest results of the World Cup so far.
Erling Haaland will once again spearhead the attack after his match-winning brace against Brazil, with Alexander Sørloth expected to partner him in the final third. Antonio Nusa will round out the attack, with his performances so far bringing interest from several clubs.
Martin Ødegaard will be tasked with pulling the strings in midfield alongside Patrick Berg and Sander Berge.
At the back, Kristoffer Ajer and Torbjørn Heggem should continue in central defence, with Julian Ryerson and David Møller Wolfe occupying the full-back positions. Ørjan Nyland is expected to start in goal.

England have a couple of defensive issues to contend with ahead of their quarter-final against Norway.
Thomas Tuchel is without Jarell Quansah after his red card against Mexico earned him a two-match suspension. Marc Guéhi is also a major doubt according to reports.
If Guéhi is unable to recover in time, Ezri Konsa is expected to partner John Stones in central defence. Djed Spence is likely to step in at right back, with Nico O’Reilly at left back. Jordan Pickford looked much sharper against Mexico and will continue in goal.
Further forward, there is little reason for Tuchel to make changes after England’s dramatic win over Mexico. Declan Rice and Elliot Anderson will continue their midfield partnership. Ahead of them, England’s two starmen this tournament, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane, will start.
Bukayo Saka and Anthony Gordon are likely to keep their places on the wings. Both were involved in the goals in Mexico City and Tuchel will be hoping they create again.

However, they have not had everything their own way. They were held by Ghana in the group stage before needing a determined display to beat Mexico 3-2 in the round of 16.
Norway have been one of the biggest surprises of the tournament. They have exceeded expectations at every stage and fully deserved their shock win over Brazil.
That victory will give Ståle Solbakken’s side plenty of belief ahead of this quarter-final.
England know exactly where the biggest danger lies. Erling Haaland has been the standout striker at this World Cup and is capable of scoring against any defence.
If Norway stay compact and allow Martin Ødegaard time on the ball, Haaland is likely to get chances.
That said, England have quality all over the pitch. Jude Bellingham continues to deliver in the biggest moments, while Harry Kane remains one of the most reliable forwards in world football.
Thomas Tuchel’s side also showed real character to come through a difficult test against Mexico despite playing with 10 men.
Norway will not make life easy for England. They are organised, disciplined and dangerous on the counter-attack. If they can frustrate England for long periods, they will fancy their chances.
The question is whether they can keep England’s attacking players quiet for 90 minutes.
I think Norway will create opportunities, especially through Haaland.
That said, England have more depth, more experience and more match-winners across the pitch. That extra quality could be the difference in another tight knockout tie.
