Manchester United’s academy is buzzing with excitement as teenage forward JJ Gabriel continues to rise through the ranks with breathtaking pace and promise.
At just 15 years old, Gabriel has already made history. When he was still 14, he was promoted to the Under-18 team.
Scoring twice on his debut in a 13-1 drubbing of Leeds and earning the rare privilege of training with the senior squad under new manager Ruben Amorim this season, he is a promising talent.
A fast-tracked talent with rare promise
Gabriel’s performances in youth matches have drawn widespread attention. His technical flair, dribbling skills, and eye for goal have led to comparisons to Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Whether Gabriel will fulfil the ‘next Neymar’ tag remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: Manchester United are treating him not as a fleeting prodigy, but as a long-term investment.
The club seems eager to balance ambition with caution – allowing the teenager’s talent to bloom on its own schedule.
