England will look to continue their impressive Nations League turnaround when they face Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday, September 6.
Thomas Tuchel’s side head into the game full of confidence after producing their best performance of the campaign so far.
England demolished Croatia 7-0 in Rijeka on Saturday, with Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka both scoring twice, while Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and Morgan Rogers also found the net.
It was a result that followed England’s disappointing 3-2 defeat to Spain in their opening match of the competition.
The Three Lions then defeated Czechia before dismantling Croatia, leaving Tuchel’s side second in Group A3.
England face Czechia again
On Tuesday, England face Czechia for the second time in the space of a week, with the return fixture taking place at Wembley.
The first meeting in Prague ended 2-0 to England, although the match result was helped by Pavel Šulc’s first-half red card.
Gordon opened the scoring shortly after half-time before Kane added a second goal in the 69th minute.
Czechia have struggled in the group so far and remain without a point after three matches.
They have lost to Croatia, England and Spain, conceding eight goals across those three games.
However, England cannot afford to take Tuesday’s match lightly.
Another victory would strengthen their position in the group and provide another opportunity for Tuchel to build on the attacking football seen against Croatia.
The 7-0 victory was particularly significant because England finally produced the kind of complete performance their supporters have been waiting for under Tuchel.
The team pressed aggressively, moved the ball quickly and looked far more dangerous in attack.
There is still a question over whether England can produce that level against stronger opposition, especially after their earlier defeat to Spain.
But another convincing performance against Czechia would give Tuchel further evidence that his ideas are beginning to take shape.

Bigger Nations League picture
Group A3 is already shaping up to be one of the more interesting groups in the Nations League.
Spain have made the strongest start, while England have responded well to their opening defeat with back-to-back wins.
Croatia, meanwhile, now have plenty of work to do after their heavy loss to England.
With Czechia also struggling, the next few matches could go a long way towards deciding who reaches the quarter-finals.
England’s final two group games against Croatia and Spain will be particularly important, but Tuesday’s meeting with Czechia gives Tuchel’s side a chance to keep the pressure on Spain at the top.
