Whether it is through experience, defensive discipline or individual quality, Uruguay rarely make life difficult for themselves in matches they are expected to win.
Saudi Arabia will not make things easy, though.
They are likely to spend long periods without the ball and will be happy for Uruguay to have possession in front of them. The aim will be to stay compact, limit clear-cut chances and hope opportunities appear on the break.
The question is whether they can carry enough threat going the other way.

Saudi Arabia should remain competitive and organised for much of the contest, but Uruguay tend to thrive in these situations. They know how to manage tournament football, and that experience could prove decisive.
I don’t expect a one-sided match, but I do expect Uruguay to leave with the points.
