The Premier League returns on Tuesday, February 10, so let’s nail our colors to the mast with another set of picks and predictions. Man Utd visiting West Ham looks like a banana skin, while this physical Leeds team visiting Chelsea could invoke a touch of the 1970s.

Tuesday night will see Newcastle travel to Tottenham, Chelsea host Leeds, Everton welcome Bournemouth, and West Ham take on Manchester United.

In a match that could be dubbed ‘El Sackico’ by many, manager Thomas Frank’s Tottenham side will look to win their first Premier League match of 2026 when they host Newcastle.

Spurs are winless in their last six league games, but take on a Newcastle side who have won just twice from home all season and have won only one of their last six competitive games.

High-flying Chelsea welcome Leeds

Chelsea are flying under new boss Liam Rosenior, having won all but one of their last seven matches across all competitions.

Leeds are their next opponents, who will travel to Stamford Bridge after coming out on top in last weekend’s relegation ‘six-pointer’ at home to Nottingham Forest.

Everton will look to strengthen their challenge in pursuit of European football next season – mental sentence I know – when they host Bournemouth at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Both sides arrive having not lost any of their last five Premier League games, though the Cherries trail their hosts by three points in the Premier League table.

West Ham and Manchester United at the London Stadium, with both sides looking to continue their recent upturn in form.

The hosts have won three of their last four Premier League games following a period of no wins in 10, whilst the Visitors have won their last four, are undefeated in eight and are back in the hunt for Champions League football.

Premier League picks and predictions: Tuesday, February 10

Newcastle are in freefall from just about every competition, and Tottenham haven’t won in ages, so back Tottenham to win.

I say this as a realistic Newcastle fan who has travelled all over the UK and Europe this season, when I tell you that the Magpies won’t win this game.

Aside from Newcastle’s shocking record recently, their abysmal away record has seen them win only two Premier League away matches this season.

Chelsea to beat Leeds is an obvious shout, but such is the case with Premier League football, obvious shouts aren’t always the best play.

Leeds are fighting for their lives, and Chelsea aren’t bombproof, as seen against West Ham last week, when they needed stoppage time to defeat the Irons.

Upset at Stamford Bridge?

I’d chance Leeds not to lose and back an away win/draw in the double chance market.

David Moyes’ high-flying Toffees are somehow in a position to challenge for European football next season, and they will certainly take that into this game.

With the backing of the Everton faithful, I’d take them to beat Bournemouth, but I do think Bournemouth will make it difficult.

My bet would be Everton to win by a narrow margin, so taking under 2.5 goals might be a shrewd way to add value.

I am three-quarters of the way through this piece, and the level of football in the Premier League is unrivalled.

West Ham were down and out a month ago and now find themselves looking to continue their great escape and win their fourth match from five.

Similar comments apply to Manchester United, who are in brilliant form despite a turbulent beginning to the season.

This game could really go either way, so I’m going to back both teams to score and the match to end in a draw.
