Premier League Gameweek 5 offers several intriguing betting opportunities, with a number of sides already under pressure to find results before the first international break of the season.
Here are four fixtures where the outright result market does not necessarily tell the full story, with a focus on the goals and goalscorer markets.

This is a difficult fixture to read from a result perspective.
Neither Tottenham nor Aston Villa have won a Premier League game this season, with Spurs sitting 17th on two points and Villa 19th on one.
Tottenham’s attacking problems are particularly severe.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side failed to score in their opening four league matches before Conor Gallagher’s late consolation against Liverpool in midweek, while injuries and significant squad turnover have made it difficult for Spurs to establish any attacking rhythm.
Villa have at least shown signs of life, beating Coventry in the Carabao Cup and Club Brugge in the Champions League around their domestic struggles.
The 2.01 price on Tottenham makes them slight favourites, but that does not offer much appeal given their current attacking output.
The 3.45 draw is more interesting, while Over 2.5 at 1.73 could benefit if this becomes the chaotic encounter both sides need.

Brighton vs Arsenal

Brighton arrive with plenty of confidence after recovering from 2-0 down to beat Man Utd 3-2 at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
Fabian Hürzeler’s side have been producing attacking numbers that suggest they can trouble Arsenal, with Brighton leading the Premier League for expected goals according to NBC’s pre-match analysis.
The problem is that Arsenal’s defence has provided a different level of resistance.
Mikel Arteta’s side have won their opening four league matches and are seeking a fifth successive victory, although William Saliba remains out and several other defenders face fitness tests.
That makes the 1.62 Arsenal price relatively short, but the match-up still favours the visitors if they can control Brighton’s attacking transitions.
The more interesting individual angle is Havertz at 2.50, with Saka also available at 2.95. Both offer considerably more upside than backing Arsenal at a short outright price.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool

Liverpool remain unbeaten under Andoni Iraola but have drawn three of their opening four league matches.
Their attack has not quite clicked consistently, despite producing more encouraging signs in the Champions League and Carabao Cup.
Liverpool beat Tottenham 3-1 in midweek, but their previous league outing ended 0-0 against Fulham.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, have drawn their last three league matches and were involved in a 2-2 against Brentford before beating Real Sociedad 2-1 in the Europa League.
The underlying attacking threats are there.
Marcus Tavernier has created eight chances already this season, while Justin Kluivert remains dangerous and Alex Scott can help Bournemouth control possession.
Isak leads Liverpool with three league goals and six shots on target.
The 2.28 Isak anytime price therefore catches the eye, while the 3.70 draw fits a game where Liverpool’s attack could struggle to consistently break Bournemouth down.

Fulham vs Man Utd

United have attacking players capable of changing the game, with Bruno Fernandes priced at 2.85, Bryan Mbeumo at 2.75 and Benjamin Sesko at 2.44.
Yet Fulham should create opportunities of their own, making Over 2.5 @ 1.53 the cleaner angle.
If the game becomes stretched, Gonzalo Garcia @ 2.90 and Josh King @ 3.85 provide more speculative value.
