These two sides always seem to draw at Selhurst Park, but with neither side in decent Premier League form, it is hard to envisage how this one plays out.
Newcastle have more quality on their side, but Crystal Palace have only lost one of their last 11 matches against them at Selhurst Park.
Perhaps it is my very slight optimism talking, but I will back Newcastle to get the win in this game.
Newcastle aren’t good, but Crystal Palace are probably one of the only teams to be in a bigger mess than Newcastle – relative to their goals.
The hosts also face Fiorentina in the Europa League on Thursday night, so they will face Newcastle as a potentially jaded side.
