Premier League parlay: Sunday’s best bets as Liverpool host pitiful Tottenham

Leeds

Liverpool

Fulham

Combined odds: +1264

The Premier League is back with another Super Sunday this weekend, which means there is a chance to place yet another magical parlay.

You might be asking yourself, “What makes a parlay magical?”

Well, I’ll tell you.

Where else can you spend 30 minutes studying league tables, form guides and injury reports…only for your entire bet to collapse within the first 20 minutes of the opening game?

One minute, you’re doing victory laps in the group chat, confidently explaining why your soccer knowledge should probably earn you a sports analyst contract.

The next minute, you’re sitting silently in front of the TV, wondering why on earth you backed the early kick off.

Magical.

But that’s the parlay lifestyle, and I’m fully committed to it. Because in soccer betting, as in life, it’s the hope that kills you.

Anyway, here are my picks for this Sunday’s Action…

Leeds to beat Crystal Palace

Sunday, March 15 (10:00 ET/ 14:00 GMT)

Despite losing back-to-back games 1-0 to Man City and Sunderland respectively, Leeds have still looked ‘decent.’

They still have their issues for sure, for example, they lacked any real creativity to break Sunderland down at Elland Road, with some fans suggesting Daniel Farke was over-cautious with his team selection.

Leeds aren’t all the way safe from relegation just yet, but I think they have impressed enough to be pretty confident it would take a seismic meltdown even by Leeds standards for that to happen.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have looked the opposite. They started the season great, but since January, it’s all gone wrong on and off the pitch.

They have lacked any real inspiration and are probably lucky that they have enough points on the board to avoid being dragged into the relegation dogfight.

Leeds to win is my pick. It’s far from a ‘dead cert,’ but I’ve seen enough to be impressed by them, and they will want to bounce back.

Fulham to beat Nottingham Forest

Sunday, March 15 (10:00 ET/ 14:00 GMT)

Fulham have become one of those annoying teams for me this season.

Not annoying in a ‘villain’ sense, but more so in the sense that I can never figure out whether or not they are a good side, and at times it feels like they haven’t worked that out themselves.

That said, they are definitely a better side than Nottingham Forest, but that’s not exactly a groundbreaking statement.

Forest sit just outside the relegation zone on goal difference, so pretty much every game is ‘must-win’ at this stage of the season, but that doesn’t necessarily translate into them actually achieving it.

They have players capable of winning them games, yes, but not enough of them for my liking.

Fulham to win. Perhaps not as comfortable as some might expect, but a win is a win.

Liverpool to beat Tottenham

Sunday, March 15 (12:30 ET/ 16:30 GMT)

Predicting Liverpool games this season has been like predicting the UK weather, well, actually that’s pretty easy to do – Rain, always rain.

Anyway, they have been really inconsistent. But do you know who hasn’t been inconsistent?

Tottenham. They have been consistently sh**.

I’m actually starting to think they might go down. That’s how bad things are getting.

With Liverpool deep in the hunt for a place in the top four and a Champions League place for next season, they will certainly want to pile more misery on Spurs.

Liverpool to win is the pick here. But with the way these two sides have performed this season, anything is possible.
