Transfer deadline day has brought about plenty of intriguing stories to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur all closing in on late deals.
Chelsea are nearing a deal for Roma midfielder Manu Kone, with squad player Jamie Gittens reportedly set to head the other way in a loan deal.
For Man City, they’re in the final stages of securing Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye as an alternative in a deal worth £65million, after their Cody Gakpo coup fell through.
After a dire start to their season, Tottenham have made late moves for Chelsea’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Mykhailo Mudryk to help kickstart their campaign.
Kone deal
Sky Sports reports Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini is standing firm in his stance to not sell the France international, but the Blues are hoping the Gittens loan can sweeten the deal.
Chelsea value Kone at around £52m, with the player shaped to be the obvious incoming should Enzo Fernandez move to Man City, which looks increasingly likely as transfer deadline day progresses.
Should Chelsea secure the Kone deal, it leaves Roma the option to replace the deep-lying midfielder, with the Italian club touting AC Milan’s Youssouf Fofana or Marseille’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as potentials.

Ndiaye all but wrapped up
Man City have all but secured Ndiaye, which comes after their chase for Gakpo looked a certainty, with the Liverpool winger reportedly happy to shift from Merseyside to Manchester.
However, the Reds rejected Man City’s £80m offer on Monday for the Dutchman, which was evidently an evaluation too high for an agreement between the two clubs.
After losing Ndiaye, Everton swiftly turned their attention to Man City outcast Jack Grealish, for another season-long loan deal in which the Toffees will cover the final year of his contract.
Tosin and Mudryk medicals
Both players are set to join Spurs with personal terms agreed overnight, pending medicals.
The deal for Tosin is permanent, whilst the deal for Mudryk is an initial loan.
Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi has worked with Tosin previously at Brighton and Marseille, and is a big fan of Mudryk, who he’s lauded since their days at Shakhtar Donetsk together.
